A lone rooster waits in silence for his cue to break the barrier of sound and give birth to the new day. In the overshadowed eclipse of light rises the sun through the ashes of night. The stars mellow twinkling in the skies give but a glimpse of first daybreak. The earth rotates and revolves around the axis of time and space and never slower or faster than dictated. I stand along the beach and cherish the sun’s first ray of light smiling and reminiscing of golden times past embrace.

I am a man who has lived, lost and loved. The ones I’ve lived with adore me. The ones I’ve lost will forever be remembered by me. The ones I’ve loved all hate me. The way through life is not in the way you live your life day to day, but how you live your life as a whole. Ever pushing forward through the swells of life one must stand strong against the test of time. Time is without loss and loss is nothing more than time lost.

What light doth shine from the deepest abyss of my heart? My love from which the whole world I sought, brought upon my destruction with but a thought. The pangs of love I did fear, but worry not whenever she was near. She shone brighter than the stars, the moon the sun in all their vigilant glory, but never shone so brightly as in my heart. Til the day she spoke not but a single word, turned with grace and poise and my world grew dark and the light extinguished from my heart.
